Ngati Kahu Social and Health Services is a tight knit whanau team, based in Kaitaia. The organisation is growing and now needs a fantastic Office Administrator to help in the mahi!
This role would suit someone who has a good understanding of how to create and live on a budget. You will thrive in working with whanau to help them make and live within their means. Your ability and initiative will add value to how you work. You will be involved with creating budgets, delivering programmes to groups on finances and have the ability to find the best value for money.
Along with being able to make financially sound decisions, you'll also be responsible for:
Facilitating sessions associated with making financial decisions
Having a general understanding of financial activities, e.g. taxes, bank loans, savings accounts, hire purchases...etc
Ability to accept jobs and allocate time and materials to them (some training provided)
Maintain the client database, generate reports and manage the computer filing system (training provided)
A positive attitude, experience in working with high energy teams, and able to set up and improve on systems are key requirements for this role. You will be a strong team player that is computer literate, alongside having the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and take initiative. You will have excellent time management and a strong customer focus.
